How to change levels of LDL and HDL
There are many ways to change the levels of LDL and HDL in your blood stream. HDL is good for the body so you would want more of that. While LDL is also good for you, too much of it can harm the body and create clogs on your arteries. To increase the amount of HDL in your body, you can lose excess weight by exercising for 30 minutes every day, eat a healthier diet with more fruits and vegetables, stop or never smoke, and take in omega-3 fatty acids. To lower the amount of LDL in your body, you can eat soluble fibers like fruits and vegetables and eat less saturated fats. Some healthy foods include nuts, seeds, avocados, beans, oats, cold-water fishes such as salmon, spinach, yams, potatoes, and orange and cranberry juices.
